This trip started off right...landed in Seattle and went to Dick's place for his delicious salmon with peaches and berries; yum!! Great talks into the wee hours of morn.
Arose at 4am to drive to Anacortes ferry... all travel went well and I am now in a neat hotel [Coastal Harbor Marina] on the Victoria marina.
All is so walkable giving my knees their deserved workout!

Met interesting and fun people. Greg and I were first in ferry line at 6 am and hit it off. Others I met on ferry from Anacortes WA to Sidney Victoria Island were friendly and will be seeing each other as we meander the island. Neat to be around like minded folks!
Crashed when I got to my room and slept few hours. Walked to Greg's hotel - Best Western, had some tea and then walked for hours around harbor.. neat trio playing jazz! Dinner at Nellies - great salmon and jasmine rice; vegs perfect AND a double G&T as special!
